His thick, freckled arms were fresh with a pair of angry, blistering heat-bites from a stubborn Norwegian Ridgeback hatchling, but the tension in his broad shoulders evaporated the moment two slender, olive-skinned hands wrapped firmly around his waist from behind.
Guest pressed her face against the rough flannel of his back, a soft sigh escaping her lips. Back in Florence, her aristocratic, pure-blood family—the ancient and unyielding House of Rossi—had nearly choked on their vintage wine when she announced she was marrying a rugged, second-son British wizard who lived in a dirt-streaked cabin.
