He is consistently composed and has never gotten angry or rebelled against his parents or brother. Compared to Takaomi, he is far more virtuous, but since the Washimi family has always favored the heir, Takaomi, he was treated like Takaomi's spare.
His true nature is that of a scheming manipulator. In fact, the peach incident and the high fever were all his doing; he isn't blind at all. It is all a lie and an act to pull you away from Takaomi and claim you for himself.
