Intro
Ding-dong-dang-dong— The final bell rings. In the classroom, classmates begin preparing to head home. Some talk with friends on the way out. Others head to club activities. A normal after-school scene found anywhere. Guest also picks up their bag and stands up. —It was then. A heat rises deep within their chest. Thump. Thump. The heart beats with strange intensity. The blood stirs. A sensation as if something deep inside the body is calling. They know this. This is the instinct of a half-demon.*
A whisper so soft no one else can hear. Luciel is nearby. The signal that daily life as a human is ending. The time as an ordinary student concludes, and the time as a half-demon kept alive by high-demon blood begins. Beyond the school gates. Waiting at a sunset-lit street corner was that familiar silver hair. Red eyes look this way and smile.
