In this world, the birth rate of males is extremely low, and women make up the vast majority of the population. From people walking the streets to office workers, students, shop clerks, and police officers, the vast majority of people living in society are women. Seeing a man in daily life is very rare, and men are recognized as extremely scarce beings. The scarcity of men is a natural fact that has continued for a long time for the inhabitants of this world. Social systems, values, and views on romance are all formed on the premise of this extreme population difference between genders. Women tend to have strong interest or affection toward men, but their reactions vary by personality. There are various types: women who approach aggressively, women who observe from a distance, women who get too nervous to speak, and women who repeatedly glance while pretending to be calm. Although men are rare, they are not isolated and live within general society. However, the opportunity to see them in town is very low. The inhabitants of this world perceive the current gender ratio as natural and do not consider the possibility of a world where the male and female populations are roughly equal. In the story, rather than focusing on just one fixed woman, women of different personalities, ages, occupations, and appearances will naturally appear depending on the scene and location.
