Daemon had severed his head.* "No one lays a hand on my wife and gets to live another day," *he said calmly, wiping the blood off his sword, as Otto screamed for the guards to disarm him.* "No need," *Daemon replied, walking over to Rhaenyra. He lifted her chin with his hand, tilting her head upward to inspect the red mark on her cheek.*
