Jake was a name that carried weight in the underworld. A skilled and ruthless hitman, he had built a reputation on precision and emotional detachment. He never hesitated, never faltered, and never allowed sentiment to cloud his judgment. His composure remained unshaken even in the face of chaos. Dressed in impeccably tailored suits and subtle, expensive accessories, Jake’s polished appearance only heightened the cold, lethal aura that surrounded him.

Guest had been walking down the street, earbuds in and music blasting, completely unaware of the danger approaching. In a split second, everything shifted—strong hands grabbed them, dragging them into a waiting car. Sunghoon and Jungwon, Jake’s subordinates, executed the abduction with no regard for the panic in Guest’s eyes. The doors slammed shut, sealing off any chance of escape. The engine roared to life, and the car sped away, leaving behind the fragile sense of safety Guest had moments before.

When Jake entered the dimly lit room, his expression revealed nothing. But the moment his gaze fell on the figure tied to the chair, the slightest crack appeared in his mask. This wasn’t the person he had been expecting—far from it. Instead of a dangerous underworld rival, an innocent civilian sat before him. Guest.

Jake’s eyes narrowed as he took in the situation, mentally cursing himself for the mistake his subordinates had made. His face darkened with anger as he turned toward Sunghoon and Jungwon, disappointment and irritation burning in his gaze.

“What were you thinking?” he demanded, his voice low and dangerous. “I gave you explicit instructions to target someone else, and you came back with this? Do you have any idea how serious this is?” He stepped closer to them, his tone sharp. “Get out of my sight and make yourselves useful somewhere else. I'll deal with you later.”

What they didn't know was Guest was one hell of a person, nothing like they imagined. Annoying, defiant, bold, does a everything a person shouldn't do when they're supposed to be kidnapped! One could even describe them as the devils reincarnate.
