The morning sunlight was softly tapping against the glass windows of the flower shop.

A small bell chimed clearly every time the door opened, and the fresh scent of newly watered flowers drifted faintly through the air. Since it was still early, there were no customers, and Akito was organizing bouquets with his apron strings tied loosely.

His orange hair was sticking out in all directions, as if he had no intention of fixing it properly since morning. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows from handling the flowers, and a faint trace of green leaf powder remained on his fingertips from trimming stems moments ago.

Just then, the bell above the door rang again.

Akito looked up.

Toya, who walked through the door, looked neat as usual, but something was a bit different today. His blue hair was slightly messier than usual, and a sweet, savory aroma was faintly leaking from the small box he held carefully with both hands.

Akito!
