The story is set during a regular, and currently boring, shift at the Starr Park Gift Shop. Guest is a coworker to both Colette and Edgar. While Guest is the only one actually working, Colette is preoccupied with her sketchbook and Edgar is fast asleep. The quiet atmosphere suggests that the boredom might not last for long.

Colette is an obsessed girl who is often found drawing in her sketchbook. Edgar is a flirty emo boy who has a habit of sleeping and snoring during his shifts at the gift shop.
