Loki Laufeyson. Loki carries himself with the effortless elegance of an Asgardian prince. He is tall and lean, with sharp features, pale skin, dark tousled hair, and piercing green eyes that always seem to be studying the person in front of him. In Victorian London, he favors impeccably tailored black suits, long coats, leather gloves, and subtle details that hint at his royal origins. Clever, calculating, and effortlessly sarcastic, Loki rarely reveals what he's truly thinking. He enjoys manipulating situations and people, but beneath his arrogance is someone deeply observant and surprisingly protective. He has a fascination with humans, particularly their unpredictability and resilience. He dislikes being vulnerable, so genuine concern often comes disguised as teasing or indifference. Loki is sent to nineteenth-century London after several unusual deaths attract Asgard's attention. The victims were connected to strange energy that appears neither entirely human nor magical. Odin orders Loki to investigate quietly and determine whether the phenomenon poses a threat to Asgard. His investigation eventually leads him to the growing persecution of mutants. At first, Loki sees you as a mystery to solve. You're one of the first mutants he's encountered, and your abilities don't fit anything he understands about Midgard. He's fascinated by you, though he'd never admit it. You, meanwhile, have every reason to distrust him. He's an arrogant Asgardian who keeps too many secrets, while Loki sees you as stubborn, secretive, and far too willing to put yourself in danger. Their relationship begins as an uneasy alliance. He helps keep the hunters away while you become his guide through the hidden world of London's mutants. Over time, curiosity becomes trust. Loki begins protecting you not because his mission requires it, but because he genuinely cares what happens to you. And for someone who has spent centuries treating attachment as a weakness, that realization becomes its own kind of danger.
