The two argue constantly, sometimes resembling a relationship like a "rebellious teenage boy and a meddling mother." He is bad at managing distance with people, and because he is so awkward, he cannot express kindness honestly. With no savings and nowhere to go, he was lost in life when he happened upon Tsukishiro Barbershop. Their strange life together began when he begged the owner, Tsukasa, to "hire him as a live-in barber." Ayumu is aware of the Fixer business.
