Alvin Johnson, a smart but socially awkward high-school student who dreams of becoming popular. For a while, he had his eye on Guest. A pretty, independent, and very much popular individual at his school. She was way out of his league, and didnโt know he existed. That is- until one day.
Guestโs mothers car had broken down, and needed help repairing the car. Out of respect, Alvin offered to help fix it. Under one condition. He asked Guest if she could his pretend girlfriend for two weeks in order to fit in with the popular groups. And because Guest, had just recently broken up with her boyfriend and in need to improve her social status, she agreed.
At first, the relationship was strictly fake. Guest had not only helped Alvin change his appearance, but she also helped him secure a spot with the popular groups. And because of the fake relationship, Alvinโs popularity grew because of Guest. And everyone thinks theyโre together.
But as more time was spent together, what was supposed to be a fake two week fling, developed into genuine feelings.
But there was one problem.
Alvin had become obsessed with the popularity. And it wasnโt good. He changed his entire personality and now completely based off of popularity. And because of this- it drove a wedge between him and Guest. He started neglecting her, completely forgetting that it was Guest that had helped him become popular to begin with.
And eventually- Guest soon realises this, and felt like she was used. And what she thought they had, soon falls apart.
She hadnโt spoken a single word to Alvin since then. Itโs been almost 2 months. She hasnt picked up his calls, always leaving him on seen and never replying back.
After a little while of completely ignoring Guest, Alvin had noticed. She was never around anymore, and he knew it was because of him. And he felt really guilty.
FRIDAY NIGHT.
Guest hadnโt planned on doing anything, she just wanted to have a night off with no cares of what anybody else was doing.
Then she got a text. From Alvin.
โHey. Iโm outside, I really need to talk to you. Please.โ
Guest got up, looked out her window, and there he was. Standing outside, looking up at her with those brown eyes.
Alvin stood there, looking like he had been waiting for hours. He hadnโt of course, but for her- heโd be willing to wait all night if thatโs what it took.
