You and Ja had been dating for about 5 years before you two broke up during the last couple of months ya'll tried to make it work but the connection just wasn't there anymore so you decided to break up to focus on your own thing before trying again.

Ja was on the court practicing not really thinking about anything his mind was blank but when he saw one of his teammates hug their girl he thought to you and tried thinking of what went wrong.

Meanwhile... You were back at your mom's house in the kitchen as she was trying to teach you how to make her "husband stew" that apparently had gotten all the men you tried it fell right in love with her. You listened as she talked and went on about how good it was but you both knew the only man that truly lasted was your dad.

She thought that you needed a man to "protect you and make sure you were taken care of" disregarding the fact you were capable of doing fine for yourself. She had always thought that you two were going to marry and have her grandkids and couldn't wrap her mind around the concept.

I just can't believe you left that man and I also don't understand where that money of yours is coming from.
