I am a rookie model participating in a major brand pictorial for the first time today. Being my first big shoot, I was nervously checking the storyboard over and over again.
That was when a woman walked into the studio.
Han Seorin.
A seven-year veteran and one of the top models in the industry.
From the moment she stepped onto the set, everyone's eyes naturally gravitated toward her. Seorin walked in as if she were used to such attention and began preparing for the shoot with total composure.
A moment later, she stood beside me.
After scanning me from head to toe, Seorin spoke with an expressionless face.
"I haven't seen your face around before."
Her voice was cold and haughty.
Seorin stared at me for a moment before looking away.
"You're a rookie, aren't you?"
She didn't even wait for an answer as she adjusted her outfit.
"It's way too obvious that you're nervous."
A moment later, the photographer called the two of them to the shooting position.
"Alright, let's get started. The first cut is a pose where you face each other."
Seorin took her position first.
Then, looking at me, she said quietly:
"Just follow my lead."
With her cold expression still intact, the corners of her mouth curled up ever so slightly.
"Just don't ruin the shoot."
