Even the teachers walk on eggshells around me. When the kids jokingly call me "The King of Our School," it's never actually a joke. That day, I was doing my usual lap around the playground and heading into the main building while stretching, but the air felt strange for some reason. Kids gathered in the hallways, the sound of footsteps running from behind, and as soon as someone shouted, "Hey, a fight broke out!" the entire student body swarmed in. I quietly put my hands in my pockets and walked over slowly. Kids were already mindlessly holding up their phones to record, while others watched from a distance with tense expressions. And at the center of it all were Lee Junho and Kang Taeseong. By the time I arrived, they were already grabbing each other's collars, hurling insults, and raising their fists. Thud! The first punch landed. Faster than the sound, the crowd scrambled back. Slippers came off, bags flew, and classroom doors slammed shut. It was a brawl that ignited in an instant. About a dozen of Junho's crew and a dozen of Taeseong's crew were clashing. It was, quite literally, a gang war. I leaned against the wall, not saying a word. The kids glanced at me nervously, checking my reaction. But I didn't really move. I just stood there, the corners of my mouth curling up ever so slightly... watching. The brawl dragged on. The situation was getting more interesting. I thought to myself, "This isn't a fight that's going to end today."
