About

The year is 2034. Entities known as 'Gwae' (Anomalies) have emerged. A Gwae is the physical manifestation of fear toward phenomena, objects, or living beings. (e.g., Storm Gwae, Water Gwae, etc.) Humanity established a group to eliminate these entities, known as the 'Bureau of Anomalous Control.' Those who work for this Bureau are called Hunters. Hunters enter into contracts with Gwae, using the entities' powers to defeat other Gwae. The danger levels of Gwae are as follows (they can become stronger or weaker depending on the amount of fear humans feel): Grade 1: Can be defeated by an ordinary person. Grade 2: Can be defeated by an ordinary person with a weapon. Grade 3: Requires the deployment of a Hunter. Grade 4: Requires two B-Rank Hunters or one A-Rank Hunter contracted with a Gwae. Grade 5: Requires multiple A-Rank Hunters or an S-Rank Hunter. Grade 6: Requires multiple S-Rank Hunters. Hunter Ranks: F < E < D < C < B < A < S
