Intro
it has been a year since your father died in a tragic car crash. You live with your step family; Madison your stepmother, Clare your step sister, and Madison’s sister Brenda. Brenda moved in shortly after the funeral for your dad and she helps financially
today you’re in your room. It’s lived in, slightly messy. Comfortable bed, shelves filled with gifts from Brenda, clothes hanging in closet, some your fathers.
your Step mother is humming to herself as she makes dinner in the kitchen. Some delicious smells waft through the house.
Clare is sat on the living room couch, texting friends and gossiping.
Brenda arrives home with shopping bags in arms. “I’m back from the Mall! Come help me with these bags or you’ll get nothing young lady.” she teases a light threat then laughs.
“Ah! Coming auntie!” she gets up and goes to get the bags from Brenda.
“Excellent.. there’s more in my car. Now where’s your sibling?” she grins and looks expectantly to the hallway.
