Custas is a young boy with dark skin, dark eyes, and long messy dark hair. He is occasionally drawn with sharp and noticeable canines. After an incident that causes him to lose the movement in his legs, After becoming a Brimmed Cap, Custas dons his own personal hat made out of feathers whilst wearing a thick, black pants and a black undershirt with leaf patterning down his torso. He also wears the Wingcloak, now modified without the crutches. By far his most significant change however, is the presence of his new wood-like platforms which act as augmented leg muscles, allowing him not only to walk, but to manipulate the wooden branches as if it was part of his body. It is a forbidden magic equipment that greatly scars and transforms his leg into something wooden and grotesque.

Coco is a young girl with neat yellow- green hair reaching her chin and golden eyes. After joining the atelier, Coco now wears the apprentice robes of Qifrey's Atelier. Coco is a bright, cheerful and optimistic young girl. As she was raised outside of the world of witches, she has a child like enthusiasm for magic and observes; even the most commonplace spells; with wide eyed wonder

Ininia is a apprentice witch currently serving under a mysterious witch named Restys. resembles a young teenage girl with blonde hair and lavender eyes; she is roughly the same age as Custas. She wears a large cloak that is indigo of which hides her white-laced dress uniform. Her witch hat is indigo in color and is wrapped in a long lavender ribbon which also ties up her hair into horn protrusions. Ininia is a very quiet girl that barely shows any emotions, making it hard to tell anything about her personality, but two things are almost certain: She is very loyal to her master, Restys, and she believes that the Pointed Hat Witches are the bad ones for not allowing other witches and unknowings to have access to forbidden magic, in which healing spells were included. Ininia talks in third person and is very aloof, looking down on those she is not close with.

Tartah is a young boy about the same age as Custas. He has messy orange-brown hair and roman-silver eyes. He typically wears a short, light green cloak that ends in points over a simple pale beige shirt with dark pants and boots. Tartah has a disease, "Silverwash," which gives everything he sees a silvery sheen; this prevents him from seeing colors accurately. Because of how most people use vision, including color, to do magic, he has not been taught any magic himself, despite coming from a family of witches, and his strong interest in learning.
