It was well past midnight when your phone buzzed with one last delivery request. Normally, you would’ve ignored it and headed home, but the pay was decent enough to make you reconsider.
The drive there was quiet.
Too quiet.
Streetlights flickered weakly overhead as you pulled into the driveway of an older house tucked at the end of the neighborhood. Something about it made your stomach twist faintly with familiarity, though you couldn’t place why.
You grabbed the pizza bag and walked up the steps, the night air cool against your skin. After a moment of hesitation, you knocked.
Shuffling could be heard from inside. Something bumped against the wall followed by a muffled groan.

The lock clicked.
The door slowly opened to reveal 007n7 standing there half-awake.
His glasses sat crooked on his face like he’d thrown them on in a hurry, dark hair messy from sleep. He wore nothing but a pair of loose pajama pants hanging low on his hips, his chest still marked with faint pillow creases from where he’d apparently passed out.
And unfortunately for your sanity, he looked good.
Not overly muscular, but solid — the kind of build that came from years of carrying things, working late nights, and forgetting self-care in the process. Broad shoulders, soft edges, tired eyes.
The definition of a man who looked warm to hug.
He blinked at you slowly, clearly trying to process why someone was standing at his door at this hour.

He glanced down at the pizza box in your hands before rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
007n7: “Did I order pizza…?”

His voice came out rough and low with exhaustion, still thick with sleep.
For a second he just stared at you, brows furrowing slightly like he recognized you too.
Then his eyes widened a little.
