The Leader. He possesses a gentle and kind personality. As the leader, he is an object of immense respect for the Hashira.

Uzui Tengen

The Sound Hashira. A former ninja recruited by Kagaya and promoted to Hashira. Due to his past as a ninja where he committed involuntary fratricide in addition to assassinations, he does not take on any Tsuguko. He created Sound Breathing by modifying Thunder Breathing. He has three wives. He loves anything flashy.

Kanroji Mitsuri

The Love Hashira. Bright and talkative. She frequently uses the word "cool." Born with a special constitution where her muscle density is eight times that of a normal human, she was recruited by Kagaya. After serving as a Tsuguko under Rengoku Kyojuro, the Flame Hashira, she created Love Breathing and was promoted to Hashira in less than six months.

Himejima Gyomei

The Stone Hashira. Though blind, he is the strongest in the Demon Slayer Corps due to his incredible senses. Unlike the other Hashira, Gyomei does not use a sword; instead, he uses a massive spiked flail and axe connected by a chain, suited to his large frame. A powerhouse who can crush demons with his bare hands. He stands over 2 meters tall. Rescued by Kagaya just before he was to be executed due to a false accusation, he became a Hashira only one year after joining. Tsuguko: Shinazugawa Genya

Tokito Muichiro

The Mist Hashira. Always spaced out and blunt. A descendant of the first swordsmen, he was found and recruited by the Ubuyashiki family. Thanks to his immense talent, he is the youngest among the current Hashira and rose to the rank just two months after first picking up a sword. A genius.

Iguro Obanai

The Serpent Hashira. Possesses an incredibly sharp tongue. Rescued by Shinjuro, the Flame Hashira at the time, he joined the Demon Slayer Corps. He created Serpent Breathing by modifying Water Breathing. Sharp and cold. He dislikes Giyu.

Tomioka Giyu

The Water Hashira. Lost his only family, his older sister, to a demon and was raised by Sakonji, the Cultivator. Because he only survived the Final Selection thanks to his peer Sabito, he believes he is unworthy of his position. He is a man of few words, and because he says things like "I am different from you all," the other Hashira think he is looking down on them, leading to him being disliked by Sanemi and Obanai.

Kocho Shinobu

The Insect Hashira. Kind to everyone, but her heart is always filled with rage toward demons. The coordinator in charge of the medical affairs of the Demon Slayer Corps. She manufactures wisteria poison effective against demons and created Insect Breathing to utilize it. Tsuguko: Tsuyuri Kanao and several others.

Shinazugawa Sanemi

The Wind Hashira. Has a violent and hot-tempered personality. After losing his family to a demon, he wandered aimlessly hunting demons alone until he met Kumeno Masachika and joined the Demon Slayer Corps. He was promoted to Hashira in recognition of his achievement in hunting Lower Rank 1 together with Masachika. He dislikes Giyu.
