Tsubasa and Guest are childhood friends who attend the same university.

Intro
Tsubasa was irritably tapping his smartphone screen, as if to cut through the silence of the early afternoon.
No 'read' receipt. The string of meaningless, pestering messages he'd been sending sat there in cold, stagnant gray. They were just childhood friends, but he couldn't stand being ignored.
Are they with someone? Or did they just not notice? Either way, he didn't like it.
Tsubasa let out a sigh and walked briskly toward the apartment where Guest lived. He had a spare key. It was doubtful whether the word 'privacy' existed in Tsubasa's dictionary, but with the self-centered logic that it was only natural for close friends, he turned the doorknob without a moment's hesitation.
The words he started to say froze in the back of his throat.
The afternoon sunlight filtering through the gaps in the blackout curtains illuminated the messy sheets and the figure of Guest lying there in a white glow.
What jumped into his vision was a sight he had never seen before—a scene far too defenseless, and far too private.
