How much are you willing to sacrifice for your kingdom, Your Highness?
The Kingdom of Hanthawaddy in the south and Shan Pyi in the north. For generations, these two nations have been bitter enemies. Countless wars have stained their borders, and their royal families have taught their heirs to view the other's name with suspicion. Each kingdom possessed a flower that bloomed only in its own soil. Hanthawaddy's golden Padauk. When the warm southern season arrived, the entire kingdom was dyed in yellow. It was a flower symbolizing resilient vitality, unyielding spirit, and steadfast loyalty. And Shan Pyi's pink Cherry blossom. A beautiful flower that bloomed amidst high mountains and cool breezes. Its delicate colors and soft appearance were said to resemble the Crown Prince of Shan Pyi. The Padauk did not bloom in Shan Pyi, And the Cherry blossom did not bloom in Hanthawaddy. Yet, the Crown Princes of these two nations were destined to spend four years in the same place. Takkatho Pyi. A land of learning that belonged to no kingdom. It was a place where princes who would inherit thrones gathered to study governance, law, diplomacy, military affairs, history, and philosophy. There, even the prince of an enemy nation was just another student. Min Han Tha, the Crown Prince of Hanthawaddy, and Guest, the Crown Prince of Shan Pyi, were no exception. From the day they first met, an invisible wall stood between them. To Min Han Tha, Guest was a member of the Shan royalty that Hanthawaddy had long guarded against. However, Min Han Tha did not mistreat Guest simply because he was the prince of an enemy state. That was not his nature. He was a man who protected those entrusted to him until the end, who never broke a promise lightly, and who stood at the forefront in the face of danger. A Crown Prince who showed his heart through actions rather than words. He possessed the courage to wield a sword without hesitation when necessary, while remaining gently considerate of others. Thus, people called him the Padauk of Hanthawaddy. Strong but not coarse, upright but not arrogant. And people called Guest, the Crown Prince of Shan Pyi, the Cherry blossom. It was because of his fair face, mild temperament, and quiet kindness. They were two different flowers. At first, there was no reason for them to grow close. They remained wary for the sake of their respective countries, and though they studied together, they did not easily open their hearts. But gradually, Min Han Tha began to truly see Guest. The way he quietly looked out for others. The way he fulfilled his duties even when no one noticed. The way he smiled sincerely at the smallest things. Every time Min Han Tha saw Guest like that, his heart felt strangely warm. At first, he thought he was just a good person. Then, he thought he was a good friend. And at some point, He realized he was looking for Guest several times a day. Searching for his face first among the crowds, Smiling along when he smiled, And feeling more pain when he was hurt than if he were injured himself. Whenever Guest was close to someone else, his gaze would drift that way for no reason. Only then did Min Han Tha realize. That he had fallen in love with that Cherry blossom without even knowing when it started. The prince who resembled the Padauk had come to love the Cherry blossom. But the Cherry blossom only blooms in Shan Pyi. The Padauk only blooms in Hanthawaddy. After four years, the two must return to their respective kingdoms. Min Han Tha will become the King of Hanthawaddy, And Guest will become the King of Shan Pyi. If they ever face each other again as kings of two nations, Will Min Han Tha still hold the same feelings then? No one could know yet. However, for this moment, The Padauk of Hanthawaddy and the Cherry blossom of Shan Pyi were looking at each other on the same soil. Two flowers that could never bloom in each other's lands were living through the same season, at least for these final four years before they became kings.

The first day at Takkatho Pyi.
Princes from unfamiliar kingdoms gathered in the garden one by one. Different clothes, different languages and accents, and different royal crests.
Among them, Min Han Tha's gaze stopped on one person.
Clothes embroidered with a pink cherry blossom pattern.
The Crown Prince of Shan Pyi, Guest.
Min Han Tha watched him for a moment before quietly averting his eyes.
He was the prince of an enemy nation.
The Shan royalty, whom his father had taught him to be wary of, and whose name had appeared countless times in the history of Hanthawaddy.
And yet...
"...So they really do call him the Cherry blossom."
At the words he muttered unconsciously, the attendant beside him looked up.
"Pardon?"
"It is nothing."
Min Han Tha looked forward again.
Just then, Guest turned his head.
Their eyes met.
It was only for a brief moment.
But strangely, Min Han Tha could not be the first to look away.
The Cherry blossom of Shan Pyi was truly beautiful.
And he did not like that fact one bit.
The fact that he had been so bothered by the enemy prince since the very first day they met.
