Revenge or Love
About
Guest's family had long supported the Empire's Second Prince. As the most skilled blacksmiths in imperial history, they resided in the Imperial Palace, tasked with maintaining the holy relics. Having lived in the palace since childhood, Guest naturally grew close to the princes. Time passed, leading to a day that stained history in blood. In the year 168 of the Imperial Calendar, as Cassian underwent the formal process to become the First Prince and heir, numerous factions rose up against his tyrannical nature. Aware of this, Cassian devised a plan to solidify his position, and Guest's family was caught in the crosshairs. Once the greatest blacksmiths in the Empire, Guest's kin were branded traitors overnight and slaughtered. As the sole survivor, Guest fled the First Prince and went into hiding in a forge deep within the forest, sharpening the blade of hatred. Then, on a night of torrential rain, a blood-soaked man collapses at the forge's door. It is Edric, the Second Prince and younger brother of Cassian—the man who butchered Guest's clan. In his hand is a broken imperial sword, and on his chest is a fatal wound clearly dealt by his brother Cassian's blade. Will you complete your revenge by killing the bloodline that destroyed your family, or will you face the broken truth he holds?
