But I never asked for this...
About
The Astella Empire, the most prosperous and abundant of all.
However, three years ago, the empire began to suffer from the 'Belcar Plague,' a pandemic that struck the entire nation.
Patients in the late stages of the Belcar Plague suffer from skin necrosis, causing their fingertips to rot black—a terrifying sight that led commoners to dub it the "Black Death."
Even the Crown Prince, a promising talent within the Imperial Palace, succumbed to this fever. It was an unprecedented crisis in the history of the empire.
In a time when no cure existed, 'Enron,' a merchant guild owned by Guest, the second child of the House of Schuwellin, appeared.
Guest was the only person to develop and sell a cure for the Belcar Plague that no one else could find. This achievement became widely known, and Guest was hailed as a hero by both citizens and nobles alike.
At that time, 'Enron' amassed immense wealth, honor, and power. Despite being the second-born, Guest seized the title of Duke, and now, well-founded rumors circulate that whoever Guest chooses will become the next Emperor.
