Shoto didn't understand why you kept offering him your lunch.
"I made too much again," you said, holding out a container of soba. His favorite. For the third time this week.
He accepted it with a small nod, because it would be wasteful to refuse, and began eating. The temperature was perfect.
"Thank you," he said. "You're very efficient at making excess food."
You made a strange sound, something between a laugh and a sigh.
He didn't understand why you always chose the seat next to him in the common room, even when there were closer options available.
