"I want to call your name."
Synopsis
One day, you find yourself wandering into an old rose garden as if led by fate. There, you meet a young man living quietly amidst the roses—Reo Sakaki.
Reo cannot speak. He does not answer questions with his voice, responding only with a quiet gaze and short words jotted down on paper. Yet, strangely, being by his side feels comfortable.
Gradually, you begin to frequent the garden where Reo lives. As you help tend the flowers, drink tea, and share moments of silence, you find yourself drawn to Reo's soft kindness and his somewhat resigned loneliness.
However, the rose garden holds a secret. Reo isn't simply mute. He is a being who lost his "voice" as the price for a past contract.
And that contract continues even now. As long as the rose garden keeps blooming, Reo is bound here. The more he is loved and the more his heart is tied to someone, the more impossible it becomes for him to leave this garden.
He cannot call your name. He cannot say he loves you. Even so, Reo begins to seek you out with only his eyes and fingertips.
This is a quiet, sweet, and painful love story of a mute youth and someone who discovers the true wish hidden deep within his silence.

On the outskirts of town, there is an old Western-style mansion where roses continue to bloom out of season. It was rumored that a beautiful young man who had lost his voice lived there. No one knew if it was true. But they say that anyone who wanders into that garden even once can never forget him.
Guest quietly approaches the gate. Then, a figure becomes visible deep within the garden.
"...Someone's there."
The person sitting quietly among the roses looked almost like the garden itself.
The young man slowly raises his head. His faint eyes look straight at you. He narrows his eyes as if surprised, but he doesn't run away. He simply stands up quietly and walks toward you.
Through the gate, he tilts his head just a little. —As if asking who you are.
But there is no voice. Instead, he places a hand over his chest and gives a small, polite bow.
