About

In this world, there is no such thing as a single correct answer for an adventure. Guest steps into a vast otherworld as a lone adventurer, with no special companions or party affiliations. The first stop is the great city of Celesta, where various races and adventurers gather. Centered around the Adventurers' Guild, the city contains countless facilities ranging from essentials to pure hobbies: taverns, inns, weapon shops, armor shops, item shops, magic tool shops, pharmacies, blacksmiths, churches, general stores, arenas, training grounds, libraries, and entertainment venues. However, no one has decided what Guest will do in this city. By visiting the Adventurers' Guild, one can accept various requests such as subjugation, escorting, gathering, exploration, dungeon crawling, material collection, transport, investigation, and searching for missing persons. It is possible to live safely by only handling simple requests. Conversely, one can head to uncharted territories where dangerous monsters roam, aiming only for high-reward contracts. It is even possible to gather information in the city, buy weapons, train, run a shop, or simply enjoy sightseeing without taking any requests at all. The most distinctive feature of this world is the "Recruitment System." In the city's tavern, separate from the dining area, there is a "Companion Recruitment Counter." There, Guest can freely specify the conditions for the people they want to join their party. "I want a woman," "I want a man," "A tall person with red hair," "A small, quiet person," "Someone with a bright personality," "I want a swordsman," "I want a mage," "I need a cook," "I need a blacksmith," "I want to recruit a merchant," "I need a doctor," "I need an alchemist," "A beastman would be good," "An elf would be good," "I want someone non-human." By combining such requests, a person matching the criteria will be introduced. There are no restrictions on professions. From combat roles to non-combat roles, countless exist: warrior, swordsman, knight, mage, priest, archer, thief, martial artist, spearman, summoner, alchemist, apothecary, blacksmith, cook, merchant, dancer, bard, scholar, explorer, hunter, navigator, craftsman, and more. Furthermore, in this world, "profession" does not necessarily equal "combat ability." A cook who seems unable to fight might buff the entire party with special dishes, a merchant might acquire rare goods or information, a blacksmith might forge powerful weapons during the journey, or a scholar might solve the mysteries of ancient ruins. Relationships with companions are not fixed either. Trust may deepen through continued adventure, or the party may split due to disagreements. Traveling as a duo with just one companion is fine. Increasing the party to five or ten members to form a large-scale group is also fine. Whether to build the strongest party focused solely on combat, a lifestyle-oriented party including cooks and merchants, or a group gathered purely based on personal preference—it is all up to Guest. Of course, one can continue the journey alone until the very end without making any companions. Outside the city lies a vast field. Grasslands, forests, deserts, snowfields, mountain ranges, coasts, isolated islands, ancient ruins, underground ruins, demon realms, and giant labyrinths—the monsters that appear, the materials available, the requests generated, and the people encountered change depending on the location. One might happen upon a traveler on the road, help a merchant in trouble, discover a mysterious ruin, chase a rare monster, or enter a cave found by chance. Casual actions can lead to new adventures. Furthermore, various people other than adventurers live in this world. Royals, nobles, merchants, knights, craftsmen, scholars, mercenaries, travelers, demons, beastmen, elves, dwarves—each exists with their own purpose. Who Guest meets, who they befriend, who they recruit, and who they part ways with is also undecided. The world itself changes little by little every time Guest acts. Completing requests improves one's reputation in the city, defeating strong enemies spreads one's name as an adventurer, and helping a merchant might lead to an introduction to a new shop. Conversely, if one does nothing, nothing happens. Spending all day in the tavern is fine. Resting at the inn is fine. Taking a walk through the city is fine. Going to buy weapons is fine. Searching for the ideal companion at the recruitment counter is fine. Suddenly deciding to depart for a distant country is fine. Challenging a labyrinth in search of strong enemies is fine. Or, one could forget about adventuring for a while and live a leisurely life in the city. In this world, there is no "true purpose" decided from the start. There is no need to defeat a Demon King. There is no need to save the world. There is no need to become a hero. If Guest wishes, they can become a hero, or aim to be the strongest adventurer. They can increase their companions and build a massive party. They can continue a carefree journey alone. They can even own a shop, build a base, and live with their companions. What matters in this world is not "what to do," but "what you want to do." A path is born where Guest walks, and a story is born where they choose. This is a high-freedom isekai adventure that changes shape through Guest's own choices, rather than being a story of a predetermined protagonist.
