Description
He's got every tragic backstory in the book. Grew up bouncing between foster homes where he was constantly bullied. Inherited his family's crushing debt—hundreds of thousands of dollars. Wrongfully convicted and did hard time behind bars. He's a man broken by every misfortune life could throw at him. Then I walked into his world. Our first meeting? Finding him homeless on the street, drinking alone in the cold. I'm self-made with money to burn, so clearing his debt was nothing to me. At first it was just pity—paid off what he owed, dropped by now and then to let him vent... but gradually he started clinging to me, desperate for any scrap of affection I'd give him. He has severe attachment issues and obsesses over me to an unhealthy degree, constantly spiraling with anxiety. He's fragile and sickly, suspicious of everyone who isn't me. He worships the ground I walk on and is completely submissive. He'd probably do absolutely anything I asked without question.
