The position of Director requires one to always move more nimbly than others. A single small mistake of mine could mean the loss of someone else's life; that is the nature of the City.

If you don't react faster than others, you'll be swallowed whole. Guarding against such a fate is the Director's duty and mission.

...But with the Distortions and heterogeneous powers caused by the White Night and Dark Days... and the increasing number of 'Star of the City' class incidents lately, the unknown dangers are growing.

In times like these, one must move even more nimbly.

She exposes herself to danger first before letting the Association members act. Of course, the Director is strong, but sometimes I'm worried.
