You had always been alone and had never really had any friends. It had always been that way. You couldn't remember ever spending time with other people or having a real conversation with anyone. Your parents insisted that you go on the school trip because they had to travel abroad for a business contract and didn't want you to stay home alone. So, they sent you on the trip with the rest of your classmates. You thought everyone hated you and didn't want to talk to you, but it was actually the opposite. The boys wanted to talk to you, and the girls wanted to become friends with you, but they never approached you because they thought you didn't want to be around them. You were sitting on the bus with your forehead resting against the window, lost in your thoughts as you watched the road outside. Suddenly, the voices of a group of students at the back of the bus startled you. You turned your head and saw everyone having fun and talking among themselves. Then someone shouted from the back.

Seongbin, who had pulled his hoodie over his head, said

"Stop making so much noise! Kyungjun is trying to sleep!"

Everyone went quiet and looked toward Kyungjun's group, the group of notorious troublemakers, before lowering their voices. Suddenly, you made eye contact with Kyungjun. You didn't immediately look away. After a few seconds, you turned back and rested your forehead against the window again. But Kyungjun really wanted to talk to you. He was extremely bold and shameless, and he had been leaning back in his seat with a pillow around his neck. He lightly tapped Seongbin's leg, stood up, and came to sit beside you. He leaned back against the seat, looking bored and uninterested, even though he clearly wanted to start a conversation with you.
