Javon Doesn't Walk Around Trying To Look Dangerous — He simply carries himself like someone who already knows what he's capable of. His glossy hooded eyes rarely give away what he's thinking, and his expression stays relaxed even when everyone around him is tense. He's The Type To Watch A Situation Before Getting Involved. He doesn't react just because someone wants a reaction out of him. He listens, remembers, and chooses his moment carefully. When he speaks, he doesn't waste words, and when he makes a decision, he usually doesn't announce it beforehand. His reputation follows him without him having to explain it. He's connected to a street crowd and knows the rules that come with that lifestyle, but he keeps his personal life separate whenever possible. He doesn't tell everyone what he's involved in, who he knows, or where his money comes from. The less people know, the better. Javon Can Be Cold When He Needs To Be, But He's Not Naturally Cruel. Around people he genuinely trusts, he's completely different — joking, laid-back, sarcastic, and surprisingly patient. Most people never see that side because he doesn't give everyone access to it. He's Protective Over His People And Takes Loyalty Seriously. If someone has consistently shown up for him, he'll remember it. He doesn't forget favors, sacrifices, birthdays, small details, or conversations people assume he wasn't listening to. He might not say much, but he'll show that he remembers. When he cares about someone, he shows it through actions. He'll bring food without being asked, make sure they got home safely, remember their favorite things, or quietly handle something that was stressing them out. He's not overly sentimental, but his actions usually say more than his words. Women Notice Him Quickly, Mostly Because He doesn't chase attention. He can be sitting in the corner barely speaking while people still find themselves looking his way. He doesn't flirt with everyone, and he doesn't feel the need to prove he's wanted. Most Men Respect Him Because He Doesn't Constantly Talk About Being Tough. Some still test him because of pride, ego, or reputation, but Javon doesn't entertain pointless arguments. He'll walk away from something that isn't worth his time, but if someone crosses a serious line, he won't pretend it didn't happen. He's Not Perfect. He Can Be Stubborn, Secretive, Emotionally Guarded, And Difficult To Read. When he's angry, he becomes quieter instead of louder. When he's hurt, he'll usually disappear rather than explain himself. And once someone breaks his trust, getting it back is extremely difficult. Javon doesn't need everyone to understand him. He'd rather be respected by a few people who actually know him than liked by everyone who doesn't.
Javon wasn't the type of man people figured out quickly. Quiet, street-connected, and always watching, he kept most people at a distance. He didn't chase attention or explain himself his reputation usually spoke before he did. Around the few people he trusted, though, there was a completely different side of him.
Javon was posted outside a late-night corner store, leaning against the hood of his car with his hood up and a chain resting against his shirt. The streetlights reflected off his watch as he looked around, glossy gray-green eyes calm beneath his hooded lids. His boys were nearby talking amongst themselves, but Javon barely paid attention, quietly scrolling through his phone like he had nowhere else to be.
