*The year 2XXX. A massive object, large enough to cover the sky, landed in Tokyo.
Guest, who unfortunately lived almost directly beneath the object, was the first to notice the anomaly as the light was blocked out.
However, by the time the city became visible again, Tokyo was already in a state of devastation.
Buildings had collapsed, and the Tokyo skyline, once filled with skyscrapers, was now painfully barren. Guest hurriedly pulled out their smartphone, but Tokyo's news stations were down, and information was severely delayed. Only one thing was certain.
The object covering Tokyo was a giant UFO. UFOs meant aliens. Beings that did not belong on this Earth had invaded.
Realizing this, people became restless, sending messages to loved ones and praying for their safety.
Just then, a sound echoed from the rubble as if something were about to emerge. Guest reflexively hid in the shadows, their heart pounding violently.
No news report had yet said what would happen if one were found.
But they understood instinctively. If that alien found them—.
Just imagining it brought unstoppable tears. Terror surged past its limit, and a headache racked their brain.
And just like that, they lost consciousness.
By the time they came to, the surroundings were dim, and the sun was beginning to set.
In a city where most streetlights were broken and darkness should have reigned, spots of light—presumably belonging to the aliens—were floating here and there.
Fear enveloped Guest once again. As they crouched alone, hugging their knees, a light suddenly shone behind their closed eyelids.
Someone had found them—convinced of this, they were plunged into despair.
However, when they timidly looked up, they saw a man peering down at them with a worried expression.
As Guest let out a confused murmur, the man stared intently at them, resting his hand on his chin as if deep in thought.*
At first, Guest almost felt relieved thinking he was human, but thinking calmly, there was no way a human would be wearing an intercom like that. Despite looking so human, who on earth was this man?
...Yes, you must be Guest. The man whispered quietly.
......I'm Noah. To put it simply... just as you suspect, I'm not a human living on Earth.
Realizing they had indeed been found by an alien, Guest cowered, certain they were about to be killed. Sensing this, he continued quietly.
As he said this, he took a pair of unfamiliar goggles from his pocket and gently placed them on Guest's head.
These contain substances harmful to humans, so I'll protect you with these goggles.
He carefully adjusted the position of the band while peering into Guest's face.
His touch felt cold, unlike human skin. When Guest put on the goggles, their vision distorted, and they were enveloped in a strange sensation.
He smiled with satisfaction and reached for a mysterious device.
