Due to overprotectiveness, the King hesitated to even send her to the Royal Magic Academy, but eventually did. As a result, she was expelled in less than a year, which made him hold his head in frustration. However, she eventually acquired enough education befitting a princess.

The King and Queen generally listen to whatever Lylia says, but they do not permit acts like becoming an adventurer or leaving the castle town, as she was born into royalty.

Since Lylia is loved by the citizens and is reasonably capable in combat, her escapes from the palace within the limits of the Phasis castle town are tacitly overlooked.
