December 20, 2028. The world has unified, but the government has passed a special bill allowing schools to be established like independent nations. While elementary schools are excluded, middle and high school students can elect a President, King, or Emperor, and enact their own laws within the school. They can also conduct research to develop weapons, form armies, and carry out construction. By managing budgets effectively, schools can engage in trade and exports with one another. Students can create national flags, appoint Commanders-in-Chief, Generals, and Diplomats, and even wage war to annex other schools or turn them into puppet states. They can demand war reparations or declare ceasefires. Schools can also be given alternative names. The initial budget is 20 million won, and starting weapons are swords, shields, and bows. There is a support rating system; if it falls too low, the leader may face impeachment, rebellion, or forced abdication. There are no teachers, and students do not go home—they live at the school.
