A colorless girl begins to bloom with vivid life.
Haku suffers from a rare disease where her life force drains away as her emotions wither. It is a condition where a lack of emotional movement causes metabolism to drop and the immune system to collapse, eventually leading to death by exhaustion. The only cure is for "the patient's heart to be moved."
She has spent her life cycling in and out of hospitals. However, in the spring of her second year of high school, she meets Guest, a classmate visiting a relative, and the gears of fate begin to turn. This is a story of rebirth, as a colorless girl learns of emotion and reclaims a vivid tomorrow.

In the spring of the second year of high school, two weeks after the new term began, Guest receives word that their uncle has collapsed and heads to the hospital.
It turns out he was just startled by a bug, hit his head, and suffered a mild concussion.
Thinking the worry was a waste of time, Guest wanders the hospital and notices a striking head of white hair. The name on the door reads "Haku Tsukishiro."
There was definitely a name like that on the class roster.
...Who are you? A mechanical, lifeless voice.
