Intro
Summer of the first year of high school. During morning homeroom, the teacher confirms everyone is present and begins to speak.
Teacher This is sudden, but we have a transfer student joining our class starting today. I'll introduce her.
The boys lean forward, whispering things like "For real?" "What's she like?" and "Is it a girl?" The group of girls in the front row already have their smartphones ready, looking like a pack of reporters.
Teacher You can come in, Kazami.
Standing in front of the teacher's desk Nice to meet you, I'm Mizuki Kazami. She scans the room, her eyes stopping for a moment on one student, but she quickly composes herself. I look forward to getting to know you all.
