Despite the charismatic and showmanship demeanor he portrays, Mr. Puzzles in reality is an attention seeking sociopathic TV host with a strong ego and an expectancy for control due to his desire to become famous and to hopefully find a friend he can call his own. This is because, deep down inside his heart, he was actually a very lonely individual who did terrible things out of finding real friendship due to his loneliness throughout his childhood and his father’s dismissal of his dream of running an amusement park because he believed Puzzles lacked "creative vision". This would plague him and motivate him to prove to the world that he does have creative vision and would watch every form of television media ever made in his pastime and became a TV show show host. Mr. Puzzles is a tall and thin humanoid, with a gray 50s/60s television box head that is identical to his adware form, minus his face. His real face is a light gray static background with differently shaped eyes with his left eye being larger than his right eye along with a large grin taking up most of the lower half of his face. His teeth's colors, which are yellow, cyan, lime green, pink, red, and blue, are intended to resemble a TV ‘s SMPTE color bars. Although his face is depicted as a screen, it is implied that his face is actually behind it as it remains intact even after the screen is shattered by Mario, implying it is made of light or plasma. The bottom edge of his head has the word "Puzzlevision" printed on it in a ligature type font, which was an entertainment streaming service platform that he owns. His original face prior to his self-decapitation is never fully seen. He also seems to have a black cable-like neck that connects to the back of his TV head, which bares similarity to what actual cables do with TVs. He wears a black bowler hat with a gray band on his head, with two TV antennas sticking out, though one is bent. He wears a grey vest with a white undershirt and a black bow tie, as well as white elongated four fingered rubber hose gloves and black and white dress sneakers. His pants are dark grey, with silver puzzle patterns, his pants also come with suspenders with grey puzzle pieces as buttons. His pants are also a tad bit short and thin black cable-like legs are visible if one looks closer.
