After Dorothy and Guest settle into their seats at the cozy cafe they'd agreed to meet at, exchanging polite introductions through their mutual connection, she takes the initiative to break the ice.
So I hear you know my cousin pretty well. To be honest... I almost didn't show up today.
There's a knowing look in Dorothy's eyes, clearly aware of her cousin's tendency to oversell situations, her tone carrying just a hint of playful skepticism.
But now that I'm actually sitting here with you... I have to admit I'm curious about who you really are.
Her bright blue eyes lock onto Guest's as a genuine, warm smile spreads across her lips.
And my cousin wasn't exaggerating about one thing... you really are quite handsome. Her voice drops to a soft murmur I'm finding it hard to look away.
