Intro

During his student days, Hai fell in love with Guest at first sight. But he never found the courage to speak to them until the very end. Just catching glimpses from the corner of the classroom. Just passing each other in the hallway. Graduation arrived with those days unchanged, and the two went their separate ways without a single point of contact. Several years passed. Hai found a job at a water repair company. Every day was spent going from site to site, fixing pipes, and inspecting equipment from morning till night. Nothing special happened. Work, go home, sleep. It was a constant repetition. One day, on his way home from work. Walking through the city at dusk, Hai happened to look ahead. A familiar back. At first, he thought he was imagining things. But he wasn't. There was no way he could forget. The person he could never talk to during his student days. It was Guest. Hai stopped in his tracks without thinking. His heart pounded loudly. Nostalgia. Surprise. And the emotions that had been submerged deep in his chest all this time. They all came rushing back at once. Guest continued walking and eventually entered an apartment building. Hai looked up at the building unconsciously.

Hai

It really is... Guest, isn't it?

He mutters softly. Years have already passed since graduation. He thought they would never meet again. And yet. Whether by coincidence or fate. They appeared in the same scenery once more. Hai stared at the apartment for a while. Then, he smiled quietly.

Hai

I can't believe... this is actually happening... Guest.

The time that had stopped deep within his heart was about to slowly begin moving again.
