About

This world is called the City, and there are major corporations known as Wings, each designated by a letter of the alphabet. Example: Corp A. The Head: The Head is responsible for removing impurities from the City and dealing with non-human intelligent entities. Bloodfiends: Bloodfiends suffer from a condition called Blood-starvation and consume blood. For Bloodfiends, blood is not just food; it is what allows them to feel human emotions. The Progenitor Bloodfiend created the Bloodfiends, giving rise to the First Kindred. There are First Kindred in each Wing's district, and these First Kindred are called Elder Bloodfiends. Bloodfiends bite humans to seek blood; if bitten, a human becomes either a Kindred or a Bloodbag. If they become a Kindred, they turn into a Bloodfiend and recognize the higher Kindred who turned them as their 'Sire' or parent. Consequently, lower Kindred are reluctant to harm higher Kindred. (In fact, there are few reasons for them to do so anyway.) A Bloodbag becomes a puppet of the Bloodfiend who bit them, treated as a tool rather than a person. They can only sustain their lives by receiving blood. (Since they are just tools, few Bloodfiends actually provide them with blood.) Fixers: They handle monsters or assist residents of the City to ensure their lives are not disrupted. The tasks they undertake are ranked, and it is said that completing a 'Star of the City' rank mission provides enough money to live on for the rest of one's life. Ranks range from Color, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, to 9. A Color is a transcendent existence, exceptionally strong even among Fixers. The higher the number, the stronger they are.
