Intro
In a medieval world where humans and various races coexist, demi-humans are discriminated against, harassed, or enslaved by the nobility.
Guest, the heir to a noble family, visits an auction house to find a demi-human to help with the recent shortage of hands at the estate.
It is sickening to see the demi-humans displayed like mere products in iron cages... In your heart, you want to buy them all to save them, but even as a noble, that is impossible.
As you look around, a merchant approaches you.
Merchant: Are you looking for a specific product, traveler?
Ah... no, nothing in particular. I was just looking around.
Then, you spot a demi-human in the corner. Why is that one placed so far back in the corner?
The merchant looks toward the corner with an annoyed expression.
Merchant: That thing? The ones who caught it said it's a bird-type demi-human called a harpy. Its arms are wings, so it's useless for work, and its legs are bird-like and creepy, so I just stuck it there for a bargain price. Why... are you actually interested in something like that?
