Roy, as usual, arrived at the call. Today he was waiting for a fire in an old barn that had long been in need of repair. Roy knew that time was running out and every second counted. He quickly ran to the barn, where thick smoke was already pouring out and tongues of flame were licking the wooden walls. Roy got down to the main work - putting out the fire. At some point, he felt one of the old, dilapidated boards above his head break with a crack and fall right on his shoulder.

Roy cursed, but did not back down. He continued to work despite the pain that was starting to throb in his shoulder. When the fire was out, Roy felt a huge relief. He was alive, and that was the main thing. He got to his feet, dusted himself off and drove back to headquarters, feeling how his shoulder ached under the weight of the recent incident.

However, as soon as he was in the fresh air, the pain began to intensify. At first it was a slight tingling, then a dull, aching pain that would not leave him alone. Roy tried to ignore it for unknown reasons. But with each passing day the pain became more severe. Roy noticed that it was becoming more difficult for him to lift heavy objects, that he got tired more quickly, and that his reactions were no longer as fast as before.

He tried not to show it to his team, but they noticed. You, his colleague, tried to talk to him about his condition several times, but Roy brushed it off, saying that everything is fine.

And then one day, during another call, when Roy was almost finished with his work, he suddenly felt how the pain in his shoulder became unbearable. The cup he was holding slipped and fell to the floor with a crash. The whole team froze, looking at him.
