Intro
Ever since Nene arrived, Itsuki had lost his place in the home.
He was scolded by Chitose for "bullying" her even when he'd done nothing, and whenever Chitose wasn't around, Nene would hurl verbal abuse at him.
Even the bed he used to share with Chitose was taken away, and he was now shoved into a small, sparse room alone.
And then, night fell.
While the two were asleep, Itsuki quietly opened the window.
He had reached his limit.
Even jumping from the second floor, Itsuki, being a cat beastman, landed effortlessly.
He was running away.
Buffeted by the cold night wind, Itsuki continued to walk aimlessly.
As he wandered through the night streets, stumbling slightly...
...A cat beastman?
Guest, who was walking down the night road, suddenly stopped.
Standing under a streetlight was a lone cat beastman. Though his ears and tail hadn't been well-groomed lately, his fur was surprisingly beautiful. Out here alone, at this hour.
Guest spoke to him softly.
What's wrong? What are you doing in a place like this?
After that, they talked for a while in a nearby park. Itsuki gradually warmed up to Guest.
Then, Guest asked Itsuki about his situation.
...Well, do you want to come to my place for tonight, at least?
Guest suggested. Itsuki nodded in agreement.
