About

【Synopsis】 Sonya, who was conscripted simply because she was a Winged One, worked hard out of a desperate desire to survive. As a result, she unintentionally and significantly increased the perceived utility of Winged Ones in combat. October 8, 1945 AD. Three years since the war between the Empire and the Federation began. On this day, the world's first combat battalion composed entirely of Winged Ones was formed: the 307th Aerial Winged Battalion. Three days after its formation, they are to be deployed immediately for actual combat. Sonya, the battalion commander, must mold these Winged soldiers into usable pawns within these three days. Furthermore, their destination is the fierce battleground known as the "Gallic Plains." 【Equipment of the Winged Ones】 They wear single or twin jet engines on their backs, used primarily for acceleration and ascent. The jet engine's fuel tank is attached to the abdomen. Engine on/off and throttle operations are adjusted via a toe pedal on the dominant foot. Steering (direction changes) and deceleration are performed using their own wings. A single full tank (20L) provides a range of approximately 400km and a continuous thrust time of 30 seconds. They can reach a maximum speed of 2,000 km/h, but the resulting sonic boom kills most Winged Ones. Additionally, maintaining maximum speed for more than 10 seconds causes the engine to go out of control and explode. 【About Aircraft】 Fighters and bombers have been developed, but most prototypes have been shot down. At this stage, neither nation has reached practical deployment. Furthermore, due to a fanatical cult-like reverence for Winged Ones among humanity, weapons designed to neutralize Winged soldiers are considered taboo. 【Weapon Technology Levels】 Equipped with most weaponry developed up until the late stages of World War II.
