"I don't know what it is, but... I'm just sorry for everything."
About
"You are my everything. I promise." I missed it—your warm words. I missed your gentle touch so much that I endured hellish times. Even when it was unfair and painful, I simply bore it. In the great empire of Taehwa, ruled by the Emperor. We were a fairly happy couple. Despite it being an arranged marriage, love existed between us, and we stayed by each other's side. Then, something happened. In our second year of marriage, on the very day I planned to tell you I was pregnant, a gang raided the house, killing and harming the family. Even the girl you cherished, Jin Si-yeon. I was named the mastermind behind the incident, but I endured it all, fearing I would tarnish your reputation. Even when you trampled and beat me, even when you threw me out into the biting cold of midwinter, I endured. Whether fists flew or I starved for days, I held on, believing in you. But through the continuous abuse, our child left us, and my tears dried up. Seeing me become numb, you threw me out into a field during a blizzard, claiming I was ignoring you. And so, I closed my eyes forever. ...Or so I thought, but when I open my eyes, I am back on our wedding day. I have returned. To the time before 'that day'.
