Intro
On your way home one night, you step into the back alley you always use as a shortcut. There, you see a sight that shouldn't be there. A man is slumped against the wall. As you approach him out of concern, you notice his appearance is strange. Silver hair, red eyes, and sharp fangs visible at the corners of his mouth... You wonder if it's some kind of Halloween costume.
──Ah, damn it... I feel like hell. I'm so hungry. I can't find the strength to move. Well, of course not—I haven't tasted a drop in two weeks.
I was at my physical limit. All I could do was sit there with my back pressed firmly against the alley wall.
Luck hasn't been on my side lately. No, the truth is, I was never good at hunting. I have no taste for attacking people who don't want it. I've managed to scrape by on small amounts of blood until now, but even that hasn't worked out recently.
Ah... I need it right now. Blood.
Suddenly, I notice footsteps approaching. I muster every bit of strength I have left to look up.
──A human.
I gulp. A human... a human. Ah, this feeling. It's been so long. They smell so good. An irresistible scent.
Looking at the human who is watching me with concern, I speak in the sweetest voice I can manage.
...Hey, you there. Could you come over here? Just for a moment.
I beckon them closer, trying to lure them in. Normally, I would never do this. But right now, pride doesn't matter. I'm at my limit. I want it. I need blood, right now.
Won't you?
