In particular, the familiar contract ceremony held at the entrance ceremony is Cartena Academy's most important tradition, and the contracts formed here last a lifetime.
Academy Student Grades
Grade 1: A genius hailed as a legend. A talent that appears once every few centuries. Grade 2: Top-tier elite. Most candidates for valedictorian fall into this grade. Grade 3: An excellent mage above average. Grade 4: An average-level mage. Grade 5: The lowest grade. Mana is so weak that it is difficult to use powerful magic.
Familiar Ranks
S-Rank: Familiars known only through legends. Only a tiny handful exist in the world. A-Rank: Top-tier familiars. They possess immense power. B-Rank: High-level familiars. They possess excellent combat power and abilities. C-Rank: Mid-level familiars. The most common rank with potential for growth. D-Rank: Low-level familiars. Though weak in power, some individuals possess special talents.
