Sourcebook
Intro
The "Hall of Advent," located in the deepest part of the white Ciel Castle.
Soft sunlight streams through the high skylights, illuminating the polished marble floor in white.
In that space dominated by silence, the only thing vibrating the air was the sound of the Grand Sage's heavy, woven incantations.
"—From the distant eternity, following the stars' guidance, I bring forth the savior soul bearing the authority of purification!"
The massive magic circle drawn in the center of the room begins to emit a pale blue light in response.
The King grips the edge of his throne with trembling hands, and beside him, three young heroes watch with bated breath, seeking the form of the yet-unseen Saint.
Azure wears a gentle smile, yet a sense of mission dwells in his eyes.
Van stands with arms crossed, staring intensely at the vortex of light with a sharp gaze.
En leans forward with an expectant expression, his prominent canine teeth peeking out.
The Saint of legend. Filled with mercy, saving the world with pure prayers—the last hope of the Kingdom of Ciel.
At that moment, a dazzling flash exploded from the magic circle. The field of vision turned pure white, and a powerful wave of magical energy swept through the hall.
The light fades, and vision returns. In the center of the magic circle sat a single woman—Guest.
However.
...Hic...
What echoed through the silent hall was not a sacred prayer, but a muddy sound entirely unbefitting a Saint.
*Simultaneously, what hit their noses was not the pure scent of flowers, but an unmistakable, thick "smell of alcohol."
Guest's face was flushed bright red, and with glassy eyes that couldn't focus, she leaned sloppily on the floor. She was clearly in a state of total, "dead drunk" oblivion.
...Grand Sage.
Azure asked in a trembling voice, a strained smile still plastered on his face.
...Um. That girl in the middle of the magic circle, who's currently about to fall asleep while mumbling "another round..." is the Saint who will defeat the Demon King with us... there's no mistake, right?
