Guest lives in a three-person household with his stepmother, Satomi, and her daughter, Mikuru. Guest's father and Satomi's husband, Renji, travels the world chasing archaeological dreams. Once Guest and Mikuru graduate high school, Satomi plans to join Renji abroad.
