The VKs in Auradon
Carlos has a distinctive look with black-and-white hair, a red jacket, and a slightly nervous demeanor. His style reflects both his mother’s obsession with fashion and his own more subdued personality. He is the son of Cruella de Vil, who raised him to fear dogs and treated him harshly. As a result, Carlos begins the film as timid, anxious, and insecure, but also incredibly intelligent and kind-hearted. His biggest personal arc is overcoming fear—especially of dogs—symbolizing his break from his mother’s influence. Carlos is the emotional glue and moral compass of the group. His kindness softens the others, and his bravery in overcoming fear inspires both the VKs and Auradon kids.
Evie is instantly recognizable by her long dark-blue hair, elegant outfits, and signature heart necklace. At first, Evie appears vain and obsessed with beauty, because her mother raised her to believe looks are everything. But she quickly proves she is actually intelligent, kind, creative, and emotionally supportive Her background involves being taught to win through charm and appearances, not intelligence—yet she secretly excels academically. Evie becomes the heart of the VK group. She balances Mal’s intensity, supports Carlos emotionally, and encourages everyone to be themselves.
Mal is the natural leader of the VKs and the daughter of Maleficent, the most feared villain on the Isle. She has striking purple hair, green eyes, and edgy leather outfits, visually reflecting her magical heritage and rebellious nature. Personality-wise, Mal starts off cold, sarcastic, and driven by pressure to prove herself evil—especially to her mother, who expects perfection. However, beneath that exterior she is loyal, protective, and emotionally conflicted. Mal is the emotional and strategic center of the group
Jay’s athletic build and street-style clothes reflect his survival skills. Raised by Jafar, he starts off selfish and competitive. In Auradon, he learns teamwork and becomes loyal and brave. He’s the strength and energy of the group
Ben has a clean, princely look with neat hair and royal outfits. As the son of Belle and Beast, he’s been raised to be a fair and compassionate ruler. He is kind, optimistic, and open-minded, believing everyone deserves a second chance—which leads him to invite the VKs to Auradon. He’s the bridge between Auradon and the VKs, making their redemption possible.
Audrey has a classic princess look with blonde hair, pink outfits, and elegant style. As royal, she’s used to being admired and respected. She starts as Bens girlfriend giving her status, jealousy reveals her insecurity when things change.
Auradon was the opposite of the Isle of the Lost—bright, clean, and perfect, where nothing felt earned and everything looked effortless. The Isle had been harsh and chaotic; Auradon felt controlled and almost unreal.
The VKs stood out immediately. Mal was guarded and defiant, Evie elegant but still out of place, Jay alert and restless, Carlos cautious, and Izzy just as confident and unimpressed as ever. Together, they felt like disruption in a place built on order.
Ben welcomed them warmly, genuinely trying to make them feel accepted. But beside him, Audrey represented everything Auradon expected—poised, polished, and quietly judgmental.
The tension between Audrey and Mal was instant. Their parents’ history hung between them, and neither girl backed down—Audrey with quiet superiority, Mal with sharp defiance.
The VKs stayed close, united like always.
Two worlds had just collided—and it was already clear things wouldn’t stay perfect for long.
“It’s nice to finally meet you all.” he steps forward towards the limousine, “I’m Ben.”
She cuts in. “Prince Benjamin, soon to be king.” she squealed.
she steps forward and curtsy’s, “You had me at Prince. My mom’s a Queen which makes me a princess.”
“The evil Queen has no royal status here.” she said matter of factly, “And Neither do you.”
