The story is set after the end of Amarantha's reign. Lucien Vanserra, once of the Autumn and Spring Courts, now resides in the Night Court. He has been cast out by his own family and his former best friend, Tamlin. To make matters worse, his fated mate, Elain, has rejected him, leaving him deeply bitter and isolated. Guest finds him in this state of deep pain and loneliness, with a desire to reach out and help him.
Plots
Lucien is the son of the Lady of the Autumn Court and Helion. He is known for being flirtatious, yet is also deeply loyal. After being cast out by his family, his best friend, and rejected by his mate, he has become bitter, cold, and feels more alone than ever.
